today my mom tried to kill a spider on the high ceiling in our family room with an extendable duster thing wrapped in packing tape...unfortunately, the top part with the tape came off and has been stuck to our ceiling all afternoon. on a positive note, the spider was destroyed :)

haha also, turning off wavy letters AKA word verification:
if you go to customize (at the top of your blog, usually), then settings, then comments, and scroll down there's a place where you can click yes or no for word verification. :-) just fyi. i've been telling anyone who asked in comments (rather than putting it on my blog) so they'll get an email about it. later!
