gmail access

so the saddest day of my career has officially arrived. i was just informed that i will most likely lose access to gmail while i am at work. this is an incredibly sad and unfortunate development, and i apologize because it will make my response times to emails infinitely slower. i probably won't lose my company email though and i have unlimited texting, so if you need me before the end of the work days, those are you new best bets for contacting me. ugh, this is really annoying news, even for a monday.

monopoly tournament!

i should've known that events like this took place, but i had no idea it would hit so close to home! i think we should have a tournament among our friends to determine who should enter to become the next US monopoly champion! seriously, who's in?

spa week!

i have heard rumors about this week and apparently it is finally here! it's spa week in the DC area, and apparently you can get tons of treatments for only $50! check it out and let me know if anyone's interested, cause i'd seriously consider a massage...

a new low

i have discovered a new low in the world of healthy eating...don't get me wrong, i am a big proponent of healthly eating, but i also feel like as long as you eat most things in moderation and stick to health pyramid proportions, you're allowed to indulge sometimes without feeling guilty.

that philosophy has led to me believe that this new invention is completely unnecessary and totally ridiculous, but too funny not to blog about :) apparently this guy's at work developing a "steak dinner" spray next...yuck.

i subscribe to a blog called "Office Tally", which centered around the show "The Office". today, i read a post detailing the results of their latest contest, which basically involved making a diorama of a scene from the office using peeps as the characters! check out the top 20 finalists and pick your favorite...how i missed out on a diorama contest for the office, i will never know.

nicaragua blog

as most of you know, alex left last saturday morning to spend his spring break in nicaragua! chapel has put up a blog for the trip, so if you want to get updates on how the team is doing and find out what you can be praying for, check it out! thank you for supporting alex in this; i know he'll appreciate your prayers!

my new addiction

i am please to announce that i have officially become addicted to the show Scrubs. i have been borrowing seasons from chris and katie to watch the series in order, and i've gotta say, i am loving it. for those of you that aren't hooked yet, you should be, because once you get into the characters and their quirks and lives and whatnot, you won't be able to stop. trust me. or ask kayla...she has witnessed my addiction firsthand :)
