That face

I will never forget the first time Alex felt the baby kick because I will never forget the look on his face.  He looked elated, mystified, and beyond excited.  It was a look of wonder, a face that had seen a miracle.  It was an incredible moment for me, seeing that look on his face.  It was a look that reminded me not to take any of this pregnancy stuff for granted.  It was a look that beamed at the miracle happening in our little family.  It was the look of a man who is becoming a dad.
